Leaflets causing scandal

Conservative violent crime leaflet
Labour cancer postcard - "It's not the sort of thing you think will ever happen to you"

A week into the short campaign and no doubt almost every house in Britain will have had a few pieces of party political direct mail arrive on their doormat.  Each of the two main parties have produced a leaflet that has caused a considerable amount of uproar.  The Labour Party have been accused of using confidential medical information to target cancer sufferers with messaging around the threat of Tory cuts to treatment.  The Conservative Party have released a leaflet in north London about violent crime which many feel is insensitive, alarmist and offensive.

  1. First!

By which I mean, how did you manage to misquote the Labour postcard. Visually the effect is so odd as it’s literally the line above your caption so it’s not hard to spot the mistake. The caption is ‘It’s the sort of thing you think will never happen to you’ and not ‘It’s not the sort of thing you think will ever happen to you”.
