Science Moms, an environmental pressure group, launched an amusing new ad on Earth Day last week.
The spot encourages moms to lobby Congress by USING THEIR OUTSIDE VOICE in order to protect the planet and their kids’ futures.
The insight that parents use a particular tone and volume to communicate with their children when they’re outside is excellent.
Weaponising that insight to get mothers – for whom their children’s future will typically be high on the agenda – to give Congress an earful about the climate crisis is genius.
The copywriting will speak to parents of young kids (myself included), the comedic performances are superb and the whole piece is brilliantly put together.
