The two latest Labour Meta ads have different audiences and different messages.
The first is aimed at 45-64 year old voters who likely voted Tory the last few general elections: they’ve been described as “middle-aged-mortgage-man” and “Whitby Woman” in the pen portraits.

The message to Whitby women and middle-aged-mortgage-men is one of reassurance around national security, fixing the NHS and stoking up anger about the economy.
The second ad has a much broader audience. It looks like either the 65+ have been excluded or the Meta algorithm doesn’t reckon the older Boomers will be interested.

The message to most of England is that Labour won’t raise any of the three main taxes: VAT, income tax or National Insurance. This will be to reassure those who have seen the Conservatives £2k message.
