The Labour Party are running an impressive campaign – “Rishi’s Raw Deal” – which is designed to undermine Conservative efforts to position themselves as tax cutters.

There’s a significant element of the campaign which is designed to generate earned media and steer the media narrative.
Labour bought banner ads on the website Conservative Home, ran ad vans and mocked up some dodgy shops, all of which was aimed at getting journalists and activists to share it online.

They are also spending a significant amount of paid media on some slightly more functional ads.

This is a very thorough and impactful campaign to kick off their general election year.
