The Labour Party have appointed Trevor Beattie and Lucky Generals as advertising consultants.
Both have history with the Labour Party.
Beattie, whilst at agency TBWA in 2001, worked on one of the most famous election adverts in British history: “be afraid”.
He has also consulted on multiple other elections for the Labour Party.
Lucky Generals worked for Labour under Ed Miliband and made a party election broadcast in 2014 called The Un-credible Shrinking Man.
The film attacked Nick Clegg for capitulating to the Conservatives whilst in a coalition government.

Lucky Generals is home to some excellent strategic and creative talent and Beattie is about as big as beasts come in British election advertising.
It should be sign that some promising political advertising is on the way for the party.
