Enough is Enough is a new campaign to fight the cost-of-living crisis in the U.K.
They’ve released a fairly polished video fronted by some of the strongest media performers in recent strike action against rising bills, low wages, food poverty and shoddy housing, including Mick Lynch, Eddie Dempsey and Zarah Sultana MP.
Enough is Enough is a working class organisation – founded by trade unions and community organisations – that believes that society in the U.K. is run only for a wealthy elite.
They’re seeking to provide leadership for people in Britain who are increasingly feeling a sense of injustice about their economic circumstances.
They have five demands:
1. A real pay rise
2. Slash energy bills
3. End food poverty
4. Decent homes for all
5. Tax the rich
The campaign plans to hold rallies across the UK, organise picket line solidarity and take action against the companies and individuals profiting from this crisis.
