On 15th March Barack Obama’s campaign are releasing a movie, directed by the Academy Award winning director of An Inconvenient Truth, about the President’s first term in office. Seriously. Above is the trailer, narrated by Tom Hanks.
This feels like massive hubris.
I will refrain detailed comment until the film is out, but from the trailer, it seems like this will play into the hands of those who detract Obama for courting celebrity, being obsessed with his own legacy and ignoring the feelings of the electorate.
President Obama:
Received a Nation in ruins, the economy was terrible, the war had taken a large chuck of our budget, as wars always do, We are on the road to recovery, it takes time and I believe with God’s helpPresident Obama has managed to get our nation moving in the right direction. I might not agree with all his policies or decisions. But he as done and Excellent job considering everything he had to deal with. His staff has also managed to do an excellent job. They are a great team of individuals and they should have a second term to continue to take our Nation in the right direction.
